TOP GUNNER was hustled to the front then showed the way with a clear advantage, dropped from the two path to the inside nearing the five-sixteenths pole, responded well when set down after turning into the stretch and drew off under steady urging. SURVEILLANCE settled off the pace then came under urging before the five-eighths pole, gained in the four then three path on the turn, pursued the winner under a drive in the stretch and was second best. CLEAR THE AIR stumbled at the start, chased the pace on the outside, dropped from the five path to the four path on the turn and tired while best of the rest. SCOOT DADDY was urged along towards the inside, moved out near the nine-sixteenths pole, went around the turn in the two to three path, turned into the stretch in the four path and came up empty. FIVE DREAMS was hustled from the gate then chased the pace, dropped back while inside for most of the turn, shifted to the three then four path late on that bend, spun into the stretch in the five path and had nothing left. MORE VINO broke a bit slow, moved out at the rear near the five-eighths pole, dropped in late on the backstretch, went around the turn in the two to three path and failed to respond.
