MALU broke in at the start bumping BERNT AGAIN into RACING COLORS, chased three to four wide down the backstretch before tucking to the two path through the turn, came under coaxing at the three-eighths, swung six wide into upper stretch, rallied to get up in the last jumps to the finish. DOLOMITE chased five to six paths off the inside down the backstretch and then four wide through the turn coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, swung four to five wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive to take narrow and brief command a sixteenth out, came out late to look the aforementioned foe in the eye but was caught in the final strides to the finish and forced to settle for the place honors. FAST AND FRISKY prompted the pace from the outside four then two wide advancing to take command near the quarter pole, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, dug in under threat and held stubbornly until collared a sixteenth out, ran on to preserve the show honors. CLOVER STREET broke out at the start and was corrected, chased five to six paths off the inside down the backstretch and then three wide through the turn, continued three wide into upper stretch, weakened in the late stages. RACING COLORS got bumped at the start by BERNT AGAIN due to pressure from MALU, chased five then three wide coming under coaxing at the seven-sixteenths, went seven wide into upper stretch and offered up a mild bid. GONE AND FORGOTTEN chased just off the inside and then along the inside coming under coaxing at the three-eighths, spun two to three wide into upper stretch, weakened in the drive. BERNT AGAIN got bumped at the start by MALU who broke inwards and in turn bumped RACING COLORS, chased seven paths off the inside down the backstretch and then five wide through the turn coming under coaxing at the seven-sixteenths, swung four wide into upper stretch and tired. THE SHOE LADY coaxed from the gate, cut the pace from the three path under pressure from FAST AND FRISKY to the outside early on and then from a pair when joined by CLOVER STREET into the turn, tucked inside and held slight command until yielding nearing the quarter pole, took the inside route into upper stretch in retreat and faltered in the drive.
