LANDAUER moved out leaving the chute then was urged along on the outside, dropped from the five path to the four path early on the turn, advanced closer to the leader going around that bend, came under a right-handed crop in upper stretch, chased into the final furlong, switched to a left-handed crop while gaining coming to the sixteenth-pole and got up to narrowly prevail. ACCIDENTAL BID went to the front, moved in leaving the chute, showed the way under some pressure to his outside, vied along the rail on the turn, was given his cue near the five-sixteenths pole, shook clear into upper stretch, remained clear under a drive into the final sixteenth but was caught while clear for the place. ALBEDO was urged along off the pace, went around the turn in the four then five path, drifted in near the furlong marker and improved for the show. CATTANI pressed the pace on the outside, vied in the two path on the turn, dropped back into upper stretch and weakened. STORMY'S DREAMING raced well back in the field, departed the backstretch between horses, traveled around the turn in the two path and lacked the needed response. SWEET TONE was urged along on the outside, chased in the three path on the turn and came up empty. ME WISE MAGIC broke a step slow, was hard ridden off the pace, raced inside for most of the turn then moved to the two path and failed to respond. MAGIC BEACH stumbled at the start and was off slow, spotted the front a few lengths, moved up then was taken in hand leaving the chute, angled in near the three-quarter pole, raced in the three path for most of the turn then shifted to the three path and had nothing left. LAO WAY chased the pace, dropped back near the nine-sixteenths pole, saved ground on the turn and retreated. DR HIGH dropped well behind while racing well out in the track, moved from the five path to the three path early on the turn, dropped to the two path late on that bend and showed little.
