ACTIVE DUTY was taken in hand early, stalked the pace on the outside, tracked in the two then three path on the turn, was asked near the five-sixteenths pole, spun out to the five path into upper stretch, gained to make a bid into the final furlong, battled between horses to the finish and narrowly prevailed under strong urging. TAPARINO was hustled from the gate, settled towards the rear under some urging, moved closer in the two then three path for most of the turn then shifted to the four path, gained in the six path into upper stretch, made an outside bid inside the furlong marker, battled outside two opponents to the finish and just missed while narrowly able to get the place. NILRUC was taken in hand early then raced just off the pace, moved up to prompt the pace with six furlongs to run, vied in the three path on the turn, took the lead outside the quarter-pole, drifted out some while remaining on his inside lead until just inside the furlong marker then swapped to the proper lead, battled inside of the top two to the finish and just missed while clear for the show. PRAIRIE DUNES settled off the pace, saved ground for most of the turn, was given his cue near the five-sixteenths, moved to the two path late on the bend, came out a bit under the crop into the stretch, pursued the leader while remaining on his inside lead into the final furlong, swapped to the proper lead outside the sixteenth-pole and weakened. MANO E MANO moved in while going to the front then showed the way, was asked in the two path on the turn, lost the advantage approaching the quarter-pole and gave way. SHAKIN THE BELLE was hustled from the gate, prompted the pace on the inside, was urged along passing the nine-sixteenths pole, chased inside on the turn and tired. LUCA ON POINT was bumped hard at the start then slow into stride, spotted the front a few lengths, moved from the four path to the six path on the turn, turned into upper stretch in the seven path and was no factor. LCGOLUCKY bumped hard with rivals on both sides at the start, was urged along on the outside, traveled around the turn in the five path and failed to respond. MIGHTY GLORY bumped hard with a rival at the start, stalked the pace on the outside, was urged along late on the backstretch, dropped back in the four then three path on the turn and faltered.
