Footnotes
MAGNOLIA MIDNIGHT bumped with rivals on both sides at the start, went to the front then set the pace under pressure to his outside, vied inside on the turn, inched away from the runner-up midway through that bend, responded well when asked near the quarter-pole, came under the crop outside the furlong marker, drew off under a strong drive until the final strides then was put to a hand-ride while much the best. LOST IN ROME pressed the pace on the outside, vied in the two path while asked on the turn, chased late on that bend, turned into upper stretch under a drive and just held the place while no match for the winner. MAGNIFICENT MILE broke out and bumped with a foe, moved out then settled off the pace, was urged along late on the backstretch, traveled around the turn in the three path and just missed the place while clear for the show. BRAMITO settled off the pace, was roused late on the backstretch, saved ground on the turn, moved to the two path outside the quarter-pole and lacked the needed response. KAHALA veered out at the start but broke with the field, was urged along on the outside, rounded the turn in the four path and failed to threaten. MIDNIGHT TROUBLE bumped with a rival at the start, moved in inside the three-quarter pole, was urged along at the rear, raced in the two path on the turn and faltered then was eased in the final furlong but walked off.
