SNAPPIN BUTTONS established the front six furlongs from home and showed the way in hand three then two wide, remained patiently handled coming under coaxing near the quarter pole before being set down spinning just off the inside into upper stretch at that station, then went clear under a drive to prevail. EMBRACEABLE GAL lunged breaking in at the start and was corrected before making contact with VALENTINE GIFT, chased four then three wide coming under coaxing at the three-eighths, swung six wide into upper stretch, ran on to secure the place honors. VALENTINE GIFT stumbled at the start, chased along the inside ridden along from three furlongs out, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, kept on through to the finish. FIRST CLASS CAT chased four wide coming under urging at the three-eighths, tipped out five wide into upper stretch, weakened. MOMMASGOTTAGUN shied in after the start, chased four then three wide under coaxing from the three-eighths, went seven wide into upper stretch, passed tired rivals. BROOKLYN DANTZ chased just off the inside pushed along from three furlongs out, angled out five to six wide at the top of the lane, weakened in the stretch. BOOK OF WISDOM brushed the near side stall at the start when breaking inwards, chased three then two wide coming under a ride midway on the turn, swung four wide at the head of the stretch, weakened in the drive. CHASING DAYLIGHT tossed her head as the latch was sprung and was off in a tangle at the start conceding six to seven lengths to the front before settling into stride, rushed up five to six paths off the inside to briefly press the pace five furlongs out before settling in closest aim of the leader, tucked three wide into the turn coming under urging midway, faded and went four to five wide into upper stretch, folded, and was eased home through the final furlong. There was a Stewards' Inquiry into the start focusing on CHASING DAYLIGHT. After review, it was deemed that CHASING DAYLIGHT had caused her own problem at the break from the barrier and the result was allowed to stand.
