LOCKE AND KEY broke in at the start bumping BOURBON CHASE and STILL A SOLDIER into the breaking outwards PIRATE and had that ricochet back and was bumped himself, chased four to five paths off the inside down the backstretch, briefly tucked to the two path near the half mile pole before tipping back out four wide through the turn, came under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, swung six wide into upper stretch, rallied to issue a challenge inside the final furlong taking narrow command a sixteenth from home, then dug in game to fend off the former leader to the wire. CUT THE CORD bobbled at the break, dueled four then three wide with PIRATE to his inside, came under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, swung four then three wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive under growing threat to the outside, got collared at the sixteenth pole, fought on gamely to the finish. COLLOQUY tossed his head at the start and was off last conceding four to five lengths to the front, chased just off the inside and then along the inside under a ride from midway on the turn, spun just off the inside into upper stretch and ran on to procure the show honors. PIRATE got bumped between foes at the start, dueled three then two wide with CUT THE CORD to his outside, came under urging with five-sixteenths to go, spun two to three wide into upper stretch and weakened in the late stages. REYNOLDS CHANNEL chased six then five paths off the inside under encouragement from the five-sixteenths, cornered five wide at the top of the stretch, weakened in the drive. GLOBAL PERSPECTIVE chased five then four wide coming under coaxing with seven-sixteenths remaining, went three to four wide into upper stretch and weakened in the late going. BOURBON CHASE got bumped between foes at the break, chased four then three wide under urging from the seven-sixteenths, angled six to seven wide into upper stretch and weakened. STILL A SOLDIER broke out at the start and was bumped by PIRATE due to pressure outside from LOCKE AND KEY and continued out to bump PIRATE into BOURBON CHASE and in turn LOCKE AND KEY sending the chain of bumps back from where they came, chased four then three wide coming under coaxing at the three-eighths, swung five wide for home and trailed.
