SUPERPOWER went to the front, set the pace under pressure to his outside, tossed his head a few times late on the backstretch, vied in the two path on the turn, lost the advantage to the runner-up in upper stretch, fought on gamely to retake the lead outside the sixteenth-pole and prevailed at big odds. RADAUTI broke a step slow, settled well off the pace, rallied while moving from the three path to the five path on the turn, closed strongly to make a bid in the four path approaching the quarter-pole, took a short lead in upper stretch, lost the advantage back to the winner outside the sixteenth-pole and was outfinished while just able to get the place. TRACKING ERROR was well placed just off the pace on the inside, saved ground on the turn, came off the rail in upper stretch, moved out near the furlong marker then drifted further out under a left-handed crop, found his best stride late and finished with good courage to just miss the place while far clear for the show. MUNDEN stalked the pace on the outside, was asked in the four path on the turn, ,moved to the three path late on that bend, dropped back into the final furlong then swapped back to his inside lead and weakened. MY MAN MAGOO pressed the pace, raced tightly between horses while in the two path on the turn, was given his cue inside the five-sixteenths pole and came up empty. MAGNANIMOUS MAX broke a step slow, was urged along on the outside, moved in behind horses near the five-eighths pole, went around the turn in the four then five path, turned into the stretch in the six path and lacked the needed response. HOT SPUN tracked the pace, chased between horses in the three path on the turn, dropped back under the crop into the stretch and capitulated. KULAPAT was well placed just off the pace, moved from the two path to the three path early on the turn, steadied in the four path when kept in behind horses by the runner-up at the three-eighths pole, continued in the four path into the stretch and failed to respond. NICO'S DERBY RUN settled towards the back, was roused while moving from the rail to the two path on the turn, swung out to the five path into the stretch and was no factor. LAIRD OF MAGNOLIA dropped to the rear of the field then lagged at the back, rounded the turn in the two path and showed little.
