Footnotes
LADY WISDOM broke well and went straight to the front, moved in then showed the way with a clear advantage, controlled the action while inside to the two path on the turn, responded well when asked near the quarter-pole and drew off under steady urging. FARM HOUSE broke awkwardly and was off a bit slow, spotted the front a couple lengths as the winner broke clearly in front of the field, moved up then tracked the pace on the outside, was coaxed along passing the five-eighths pole, chased in the two to three path on the turn and proved no match for the winner while well clear for the place. KNICKKNACK broke in and was off a bit slow, settled off the pace, was urged along passing the nine-sixteenths, saved ground on the turn and came up empty while best of the rest. LADY OF MERCIA settled off the pace, moved out near the seven-eighths pole, was urged along late on the backstretch, rounded the turn in the three to four path and failed to respond. GLOBAL CHARMER settled on the outside, dropped back fast under strong urging late on the backstretch, moved from the three path to the two path on the turn and faltered then was eased but walked off.
