Footnotes
COLLOQUIAL bobbled at the break and came inwards bumping POROSITY, chased four wide advancing through the turn into contention when swinging four wide into upper stretch let out for the drive, rallied to take command just inside the three-sixteenths, drew clear under a drive and was geared down through the final sixteenth to the finish. ONE NINE HUNDRED established the front five and a half furlongs from home and showed the way in hand along the inside, came under coaxing near the quarter pole, swung three wide into upper stretch, got collared inside the three-sixteenths, proved no match for the top one through the final furlong while along well clear of the rest and second best in a good effort. FANATICAL brushed the near side stall at the start, chased just off the inside coming under coaxing at the three-eighths, angled three to four wide into upper stretch and weakened. GRAND COMMANDER showed the way early on before being displaced on the front by ONE NINE HUNDRED with five and a half furlongs to go, chased three wide under prolonged coaxing from the half mile pole, went four to five wide into upper stretch and weakened. POROSITY got bumped at the start by COLLOQUIAL, who came inwards from a bobble, chased along the inside under a ride from the three-eighths, spun just off the inside into upper stretch and tired. TURN AND COUNT chased three then two wide, came under coaxing along the inside at the seven-sixteenths, continued in the inside route into upper stretch, made no impact. TOGA D'ORO coaxed from the gate, chased along the inside and then just off the inside ridden along from the seven-sixteenths, angled out four wide into upper stretch and never threatened. QUIET MOON brushed the off side stall at the start, chased three then two wide coming under coaxing at the seven-sixteenths, angled five wide into upper stretch and trailed throughout.
