Footnotes
IRIDESCENT brushed with a rival and steadied in tight between foes outside the five-eighths pole then came under urging, gained in the four then three path on the turn, made a bid at the five-sixteenths pole, took the lead into upper stretch, edged clear outside the furlong marker and held under steady urging. MAGNIFICENT MILE broke a half-step slow and bumped with a rival then was squeezed back, moved out at the rear then was urged along on the outside, raced in the five then four path on the turn, chased the winner under a drive in the stretch and willingly earned the place. MASTER OF ARMS bumped with a rival just after the start, was taken in hand while brushing with a foe outside the five-eighths pole then moved in, was well placed just off the pace, drafted inside to the two path on the turn, was asked near the quarter-pole, turned into upper stretch in the two path, pursued the top two in the stretch and lacked the needed kick while clear for the show. DAUFUSKIE ISLAND leaned out at the start then was hustled to the front, moved to a solo lead near the half-mile pole, dropped from the two path to the rail early on the turn, lost the advantage into upper stretch and tired. PRINTRACK pressed then chased the pace on the outside, raced between horses in the three then two path on the turn, angled out in upper stretch and weakened.
