THANK YOU JON was hustled to the front then angled in while moving clear, controlled the action while inside on the turn, was asked outside the quarter-pole, came outward in upper stretch then was put to a left-handed crop inside the three-sixteenths pole, responded well in the final furlong and held sway under strong urging. COLLECT FROM IKE was hustled from the gate then settled off the pace, came under urging in the two to three path on the turn, swung out to the five path into upper stretch, pursued the winner willingly to the finish but missed while well clear for the place. I SEE YOU LOOKIN shifted to the two path outside the five-eighths pole, was well placed just off the pace, came under encouragement in the two path on the turn, gained to make a bid at the quarter-pole, remained on his inside lead while on even terms for the advantage passing the three-sixteenths pole, swapped to the proper lead shortly thereafter and weakened but just held the show. MY COOL HAND LUKE was urged along at the rear, moved to the outside with five furlongs to run, traveled around the turn in the four path, came out to the seven path into upper stretch and lacked the needed response. BECAUSE THE NIGHT was sent hard from the gate, chased the pace on the outside then in the four path on the turn, dropped back while remaining on his inside lead in the stretch and tired. ARREBATO chased the pace, raced in the three path on the turn, dropped back while remaining on his inside lead in the stretch and capitulated.
