Footnotes
KITTEN'S APPEAL settled just off the pace, raced in the two path for most of the turn, was given her cue outside the five-sixteenths pole, shifted to the three then four path late on that bend, turned into upper stretch under the crop, rallied outside into the final furlong, had the rider put the crop away outside the sixteenth-pole and closed well under hand-urging to get up late. SHESALITTLE EDGY was hustled to the front then showed the way, vied in the two path for most of the turn then dropped to the rail, lost the advantage nearing the quarter-pole, came back to get the lead again approaching the furlong marker, led under a drive into the final sixteenth, drifted out late and was caught while able to hold the place. SHETALKSTOMUCH stumbled at the start and was slow into stride, dropped well behind under urging, raced inside to the two path on the turn, moved out while remaining on her inside lead near the furlong marker, swapped to the proper lead while gaining inside the sixteenth-pole and got up for the show. BRZINA was hustled from the gate then well placed just off the pace, chased inside for most of the turn then shifted to the two path, moved out in upper stretch, kept on willingly in the final furlong and just missed the show. WILLOW BEND was hustled from the gate then ridden along off the pace, moved closer late on the backstretch, gained in the four path early on the turn, made a bid with three furlongs to turn, dropped to the three path late on that bend, led into upper stretch, lost the advantage back to the winner approaching the furlong marker and was outfinished. COLLECT DATTT tracked the pace on the outside, made a bid at the seven-sixteenths pole, vied in the three path while between foes passing the three-eighths pole, dropped to the two path late on the turn, remained between horses past the three-sixteenths pole, dropped back into the final furlong and tired. Please note due to a winter weather initiative all riders carry an additional two pounds in today's card.
