SUNDAY GIRL prompted the leader along the inside coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, took over narrow command taking the inside route into upper stretch, inched away under a drive to the eighth pole, dug in under lone threat and just held on at the wire to score. ST. BENEDICTS PREP coaxed from the gate, raced three wide in pursuit coming under encouragement with five-sixteenths to go, swung four wide into upper stretch, issue a challenge through the final furlong and just missed at the finish. DISCO EBO broke out at the start bumping NEVERWALKALONE, cut the pace from the two path under pressure from the inside from SUNDAY GIRL, came under urging near the quarter pole and yielded the front spinning just off the inside into upper stretch, weakened in the late stages. NEVERWALKALONE (BRZ) got bumped at the start by DISCO EBO, who broke outwards, chased two to three wide under a ride from the three-eighths, angled five wide into upper stretch and offered up a mild bid. SHOP LIFTING coaxed from the start, chased just off the inside under a ride from midway on the turn, went three wide for home, offered no response.
