Footnotes
ARMY GAL broke a bit awkwardly, was urged along on the outside, gained in the five then four path on the turn, made a bid outside the five-sixteenths pole, took the lead outside the quarter-pole, kicked clear in upper stretch, was put to a right-handed crop at the furlong marker and drew away under steady urging. BAM'S BLISS KISS showed speed then pressed the pace on the outside, took the advantage early on the turn, vied in the three path on that bend, was given her cue just inside the five-sixteenths pole, lost the advantage to the winner outside the quarter-pole, came under a left-handed crop while losing touch with that foe in upper stretch, moved out near the furlong marker then swapped back to her inside lead when switched to a right-handed crop and proved no match but safely secured the place. VALTELLINA moved in early then was urged along at the rear, rounded the turn in the two then three path, was driven into the stretch in the four path and lacked the needed response while up for the show. APRIL STORM hit the outside of the gate but broke with the field, tracked the pace on the outside, moved from the four path to the two path on the turn, dropped to the rail into upper stretch and came up empty. CARA'S DREAMWEAVER was urged along off the pace, saved ground on the turn, moved to the two path outside the quarter-pole and failed to respond. D'S A ROCK had the rider fall back in the saddle and tossed her head at the start but broke with the field, moved up under urging to get the lead then set the pace under pressure to her outside, lost the advantage while along the rail early on the turn, dropped back near the five-sixteenths pole and stopped.
