LIGHTNING STRIKE broke out a step trading a bump with CALISA, who broke inwards, raced six paths off the inside from just off the top pair, tucked three wide into the turn and advanced on the front taking command inside three furlongs to go, spun just off the inside into upper stretch and was roused straightened away, went clear under a light drive and got geared down through the final sixteenth to the finish. WILL OF A WOMANNE broke out at the start, chased seven paths off the inside down the backstretch before tucking four then three wide through the turn getting placed to coaxing at the five-sixteenths, swung four wide into upper stretch, proved no match for the top one while running on well clear of the rest to be along second best. CALISA broke in at the start trading a bump with LIGHTNING STRIKE, chased five wide under a ride from the seven-sixteenths, tipped six wide into upper stretch and improved position to garner the show honors. FEDUPWITHTHEFED pressed the pace of GIULIANA'S DREAM from the inside two to three wide, got shaken off and tucked inside half a mile from home, came under coaxing at the three-eighths, swung three wide into upper stretch and weakened. FULL POUR chased four then two wide coming under urging at the seven-sixteenths, angled five wide into upper stretch, passed tired rivals. LUPINE coaxed from the gate, chased four then two wide under a ride from the five-sixteenths, spun two to three wide at the head of the stretch and folded. GIULIANA'S DREAM coaxed from the start, showed the way in hand from the four path under some pressure from FEDUPWITHTHEFED to the inside, shook off that rival and tucked inside half a mile from home, came under coaxing midway under threat and yielded the front inside that station, continued in the inside route into upper stretch and faltered. LADY OF MERCIA coaxed from the gate, chased three wide until tucked inside into the turn, got pushed along with seven-sixteenths to go, cornered just off the inside into upper stretch and tired.
