Footnotes
TIMAEUS was urged along on the far outside, went around the turn in the four path, rallied in the five path under a right-handed crop into the stretch, closed well to make a bid coming to the furlong marker, switched to a left-handed crop at that point, took the lead inside the furlong marker, drifted out under a continued left-handed crop while drawing away around the sixteenth-pole and proved much the best under strong urging. CAMM' DUKE brushed with a foe shortly after the start, set the pace under pressure to his outside, moved clear late on the backstretch, extended the advantage while inside on the turn, came off the rail at the quarter-pole then was asked in upper stretch, led under a drive into the final furlong but was overtaken by the winner and proved no match while able to hold the place. THE MONOPOLY MAN bumped with rivals on both sides at the start, raced just off the early pace then dropped back under urging with five furlongs to run, shifted from the three path to the four path midway through the turn, came out into upper stretch, moved in near the sixteenth-pole and lacked the needed response while well clear for the show. MAJESTIC ARC bumped with an opponent after the start, pressed the pace on the outside, chased in the two path on the turn, was driven into the stretch in the three path while under the crop and weakened. RHUM PRESSURE bumped with foes after the start, chased the pace, dropped back leaving the backstretch, moved from the two path to the rail early on the turn, saved ground from that point into the stretch and tired. MACKVILLE broke in and bumped with a rival, was urged along off the pace, went around most of the turn in the three path, dropped to the two path outside the quarter-pole and had nothing left.
