ALLENHURST chased five to six paths off the inside briefly before coming under urging tucked to the two path nearing the turn, tucked inside and advanced on the leader in tandem with MELANCIA, took over narrow command taking the inside route into upper stretch, dug in dueling to the eighth pole with that rival, then drew clear to the finish kept to task. MELANCIA coaxed from the gate, chased four to five paths off the inside down the backstretch, tucked three wide at the half mile pole and advanced on the front taking narrow command at the five-sixteenths, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, dueled with the aforementioned foe to the eighth pole, then proved no match inside that station while along well clear of the rest and second best. JUST WORDS chased five to six paths off the inside early on, tucked four wide at the five-eighths and then to the two path half a mile from home, came under urging at the three-eighths, tipped four wide into upper stretch and improved position to the finish. R SPECIAL chased just off the inside and then along the inside coming under coaxing at the seven-sixteenths, angled six wide into upper stretch, passed tired rivals. KATERINA RISTOVA broke out at the start bumping MY DAUGHTERS' GIFT, chased seven paths off the inside down the backstretch and then four wide through the turn under encouragement from the seven-sixteenths, angled in to spin two to three wide into upper stretch and stayed on one paced to the end. SPITFIRE GAL hustled from the gate, showed the way briefly from the five path before settling in hand three wide down the backstretch, tucked to the two path into the turn and came under threat from flanking rivals three furlongs from home when beginning to give way, yielded the front readily nearing the five-sixteenths and took the inside route into upper stretch, then faltered in the drive. MY DAUGHTERS' GIFT got bumped at the start by KATERINA RISTOVA, chased seven paths off the inside down the backstretch and then five wide through the turn, went eight wide into upper stretch, folded, and was eased home to the finish.
