JUST BEAT THE ODDS came away in good order, showed the way down the backstretch, dictated terms in the two path on the turn, dropped to the rail outside the quarter-pole then was asked, extended the advantage under a strong hand-ride into the final furlong, drew off under two pops of the crop between the eighth-pole and the sixteenth-pole then was placed back under a strong hand-ride to the finish while much the best. TWENTY FOUR MAMBA moved out near the five-eighths pole then settled on the outside, chased in the four then three path on the turn, pursued the winner under a drive into the final furlong and was second best. REASONED ANALYSIS broke a half-step slow, climbed some while urged along off the pace, moved in near the nine-sixteenths pole, went around most of the turn in the two path then shifted to the three path, was driven into the stretch in the six path and lacked the needed response while able to safely secure the show. STOLEN BASE pressed the pace on the outside, chased in the two to three path on the turn, was driven into the stretch in the four path and tired. HIGH OAK broke a step slow, moved out early then was urged along on the outside, advanced closer late on the backstretch, went around the turn in the five path and had nothing left. HE'SMYHONEYBADGER was hustled from the gate then well placed just off the pace, chased inside on the turn and retreated.
