O P FIRECRACKER coaxed from the gate, established the front and showed the way in hand just off the inside, came under coaxing at the five-sixteenths and continued in the two path into upper stretch, edged away under a drive to the eighth pole, dug in and held safe to prevail. PORTOS coaxed from the start, raced three then two wide through the first turn before tipping four paths off the rail down the backstretch, continued four wide through the far turn getting placed to urging three furlongs out, swung four to five wide into upper stretch and offered up a mild kick to latch on the aforementioned foe as he hit the wire. BROOKLYN STRONG coaxed from the gate, chased two then three wide under a ride from the three-eighths pole, angled out six wide into upper stretch, kept on to procure the show honors. BOLD VICTORY coaxed from the start, chased just off the inside and then along the inside under encouragement from the seven-sixteenths, cornered just off the inside into upper stretch, improved position to the finish. BIG RICH four then three wide through the first turn, chased three wide down the backstretch before heading four to five wide through the far turn pushed along from the seven-sixteenths, went seven to eight wide at the head of the stretch and weakened. ICE TIME chased two to three wide under a ride with seven-sixteenths remaining, tipped out four to five wide into upper stretch, made no impact. STEADY PROGRESS chased along the inside to the half mile pole, tipped three wide through the far turn and was placed to urging three furlongs from home, continued three wide at the top of the lane, tired in the stretch.
