GRAYWING showed speed then was eased back between horses, moved out then chased the leaders from the outside, went around the turn in the four path, made a bid outside the quarter-pole, took the lead under a strong hand-ride in upper stretch, was put to a left-handed crop outside the eighth-pole, responded well in the final furlong and held under strong urging. ELYSIAN MEADOWS broke a half-step slow, was urged along well off the pace, went around the turn in the two to three path, gained under a drive into upper stretch, moved out in the vicinity of the sixteenth-pole and finished with good energy to get the place. HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPS brushed the inside of the gate at the start, showed speed then contested the pace on the inside of an opponent, vied in the two path on the turn, came under a right-handed crop outside the furlong marker, drifted out some when switched to a left-handed crop outside the sixteenth-pole and was outfinished but gamely held the show. FACTUALLY CORRECT broke alertly and went to the front, contested the pace on the outside then in the three path on the turn, was asked outside the quarter-pole, came under a right-handed crop in upper stretch, dropped back some into the final furlong and was outfinished then just missed the show. TEN CENT TOWN broke a step slow then was bumped by a rival, raced on the outside under urging, chased in the five path on the turn, made a bid into upper stretch, battled outside of the winner into the final furlong then was out-kicked and just missed the superfecta. ACOUSTIC AVE stumbled outward at the start then bumped with a foe, was urged along off the pace, moved in near the nine-sixteenths pole, dropped from the two path to the rail very early on the turn, gained while saving ground from that point into the stretch, held a good striking position passing the three-sixteenths pole but lacked the needed response.
