Footnotes
UNLIMITEDPOTENTIAL was taken in hand between foes near the three-quarter pole then rated off the pace, drafted in the two path on the turn, split foes while asked outside the quarter-pole, gained on the leader while remaining on his inside lead in upper stretch, swapped to the proper lead while making a bid at the furlong marker, gained the advantage outside the sixteenth-pole and proved best under strong urging. MAGNOLIA MIDNIGHT was hustled from the gate then angled in while going to the front, shook clear late on the backstretch, controlled the action while inside on the turn, was given his cue outside the quarter-pole then came off the rail into the stretch, was given one pop of a right-handed crop inside the three-sixteenths pole, switched to a left-handed crop under threat at the furlong marker, drifted out nearing the sixteenth-pole then swapped back to his inside lead while being overtaken and safely held the place. REDDINGTON bumped with a rival at the start, tossed his head briefly when taken in hand early, settled off the pace, moved out with five furlongs to run, was urged along late on the backstretch, went around the turn in the three then four path and lacked the needed kick while able to get the show. PRESIDENT Z angled in while showing speed then was rated just off the pace, was asked near the seven-sixteenths pole, chased inside on the turn and weakened. MAGNIFICENT MILE broke in and bobbled then bumped with an opponent, angled out early then chased the pace on the outside, went around most of the turn in the two path then moved to the three path, pursued the leader into upper stretch and tired. MANDATORY broke out and brushed with a foe, raced off the pace, tossed his head and was taken up near the five-eighths pole then dropped back, moved from the rail to the three path on the turn, turned into the stretch in the five path and lacked the needed response then was transported off the track via equine ambulance. LOST IN ROME dropped to the rear of the field, moved out near the nine-sixteenths, dropped from the three path to the two path on the turn and was no factor.
