Footnotes
POCKET QUEENS stalked the pace on the far outside, made a four wide bid early on the turn, took the lead while still in the four path at the quarter-pole, inched clear under a drive in upper stretch, responded well under the crop in the final furlong and proved best under steady urging. HEAVENLY LIGHT prompted the pace on the outside, was asked near the seven-sixteenths pole, chased three wide on the turn, shifted to the five path at the top of the stretch, kept on in pursuit of the winner into the final furlong, drifted in some outside the sixteenth-pole then was straightened by the rider and was second best. HIGHER FORCE prompted the pace between horses, was asked in the two path early on the turn, continued between foes into upper stretch and weakened while clear for the show. TALIESIN drifted in after the start, set the pace under pressure to her outside, vied inside while asked on the turn, lost the advantage near the quarter-pole and tired. TOXIC GIRL dropped back early then settled off the pace, moved in near the seven-eighths pole, was urged along passing the five-eighths pole, shifted from the rail to the two path on the turn, turned into the stretch in the three path while under the crop and failed to threaten. MISSELIOFWAR stood in the gate and was off very slow, settled at the rear, was urged along while moving from the two path to the rail on the turn and was no factor.
