Footnotes
CATHERINE WHEEL settled off the pace, was urged along late on the backstretch, traveled around the turn in the four path, turned into upper stretch in the five path, rallied outside to make a bid at the sixteenth-pole and got up to narrowly prevail. TAKETHEMONEYHONEY stalked the pace, was urged along in the two path on the turn, gained the lead near the quarter-pole, turned into upper stretch in the three path, led under a drive into the final sixteenth but was denied while able to get the place. GRAMMY GIRL broke near the back of the field, moved out early then tracked the pace on the outside, made a three wide bid midway through the turn, battled with the runner-up under a drive into the final sixteenth and was outfinished then had the rider lose his crop nearing the finish while well clear for the show. SAVE US MELANIA went to the front then showed the way in hand, vied inside on the turn, was asked near the five-sixteenths pole, lost the advantage coming to the quarter-pole and tired. MALU was hustled from the gate, settled towards the rear on the outside, was urged along late on the backstretch, raced in the five path for most of the turn then dropped to the four path, spun back into the five path into the stretch and failed to threaten. BOBBY JEAN dropped back early then angled in outside the three-quarter pole, settled off the pace, saved ground on the turn, came out into the stretch and was no factor.
