SHIFTY GOLD broke out and hit the gate, was urged along just off the pace, angled from the rail to the four path on the turn, rallied to the lead in the six path in upper stretch, shook clear near the furlong marker and proved best under steady urging. LOU was urged along off the pace, angled from the rail to the five path on the turn, turned into upper stretch in the seven path then chased the winner, remained on his inside lead until outside the sixteenth-pole then swapped to the proper lead and secured the place while unable to go with the winner. JUST LICORICE bumped with a rival at the start, dropped well behind the rest of the field, saved ground on the turn, came out into upper stretch and improved with late energy to get the show. KAKAO bumped with a rival at the start, settled off the pace, was urged along late on the backstretch, moved from the three path to the six path on the turn, dropped to the five path into the stretch and lacked the needed kick. I'M SOLO N IN LOVE was hustled from the gate then pressed the pace, dropped back under urging late on the backstretch, floated from the two path to the five path while falling well back on the turn, came out to around the eight path into the stretch and gained late but failed to impact. MILES AND MILES tugged on the bit under restraint for the opening quarter-mile, stalked the pace on the outside, vied in the four path while let out on the turn, dropped to the three path late on that bend, took the lead near the quarter-pole, lost the advantage in upper stretch, dropped back while remaining on his inside lead into the final furlong, swapped to the proper lead outside the sixteenth-pole and weakened. RUN OF THE HOUSE was hustled to the front, set the pace under pressure to his outside, vied along the rail on the turn, lost the lead near the quarter-pole and faded. MCDIESEL pressed the pace, vied in the three then two path on the turn, dropped back late on that bend and retreated.
