E Z BOURBON established a forward position early, moved up to prompt the pace between horses inside the three-quarter-pole, continued between horses while vying in the two path on the turn, took a short lead under a left-handed crop into upper stretch, battled outside the runner-up under a continued left-handed crop until outside the sixteenth-pole then was placed under a hand-ride to the finish and held sway. ALLOFASUDDENLEE went to the front, showed the way under pressure to the outside starting inside the three-quarter pole, vied inside of two foes while along the rail on the turn, lost the advantage to the winner into upper stretch, fought on well with that rival to the finish but missed while well clear for the place. FAST AMENDMENT was hustled from the gate then urged along on the outside, traveled around the turn in the four path, was put to a left-handed crop outside the five-sixteenths pole, moved in outside the furlong marker and weakened while best of the rest. BIG EGO was hustled from the gate then tracked on the outside, moved up inside the three-quarter pole, vied in the three path under urging on the turn, dropped back into the stretch and tired. PREMIER CRU was sent hard from the gate, raced just off the pace under urging, dropped back with five furlongs to run, moved from the rail to the two path on the turn, came out into upper stretch and capitulated. ME WISE MAGIC broke awkwardly and was slow into stride, spotted the front a few lengths, dropped well behind the rest of the field, moved from the rail to the three path on the turn, came out into upper stretch and was no factor. STORMY'S DREAMING was urged along off the pace, moved closer near the three-quarter pole, dropped back around the nine-sixteenths pole, saved ground on the turn and faltered.
