BLAKE B. coaxed from the gate, chased three wide coming under coaxing at the three-eighths pole, angled out six wide into upper stretch, rallied to take command just outside the eighth pole, then went clear under a drive to prevail. PERSISTENT DANGER seven paths off the inside down the backstretch, tucked four wide through the turn coming under encouragement at the three-eighths, tipped five wide into upper stretch, proved no match for the top one while keeping on to garner the place honors.
