LEGAL DEAL chased two to three wide coming under encouragement at the three-eighths pole, angled out six wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive rallying to take command seventy yards from the finish, then inched away kept to task. AMITY ROAD brushed the off side stall at the start and got coaxed from the gate, chased five then four wide coming under urging at the three-eighths, swung five wide into upper stretch, took over command just inside the three-sixteenths, dug in under threat and was caught in the final seventy yards to the finish while safe for the place honors. GUN IT coaxed from the gate, dueled from the four path early on with CASTLE ISLAND to his inside, got shaken off a bit and prompted the pace of that rival three wide coming under coaxing after taking command at the five-sixteenths, continued three wide into upper stretch, dug in and was collared just inside the three-sixteenths, then kept on to preserve the show honors. FROMANOTHAMUTHA chased five then four wide coming under coaxing at the seven-sixteenths, cornered five then four wide into upper stretch, offered up a mild bid. CELESTIAL MOON chased four paths off the inside down the backstretch and then just off the inside through the turn pushed along from the seven-sixteenths, angled five to six wide into upper stretch and made no impact. CASTLE ISLAND coaxed from the start, dueled early on from the two path with GUN IT to his outside before shaking off that rival a bit while still under pressure, came under coaxing near the five-sixteenths and was displaced from the front at that station, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, tired in the drive.
