SHADOW DRAGON chased five paths off the inside down the backstretch and then three wide through the turn coming under encouragement at the three-eighths pole, swung four wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive rallying to take command just inside the sixteenth marker, then edged away to the finish. FRIZZANTE chased along the inside and then just off the inside under a ride from three furlongs out, angled four to five wide into upper stretch, closed well to procure the place honors. LIBERTE DE BAYEUX showed the way in hand just off the inside, widened away from the field when put to urging at the five-sixteenths, spun three then two wide into upper stretch, dug in under threat and weakened in the late stages getting caught just inside the sixteenth marker for the top spot and then in the final jumps for the place honors. MIKEALICIOUS chased three then two wide coming under urging three furlongs from home, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, kicked on belatedly to the finish.
