MO RHODES broke last and sluggish from the gate without incident, chased three to four paths off the inside past the stands the initial time before heading four wide through the first turn, tipped out to be six paths off the inside down the backstretch and then went five to six wide through the far turn coming under urging midway, advanced mildly through the latter portion of the turn and went six wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive issuing a challenge inside the final furlong and was just up in the shadow of the wire to score. DOUBLE YOUR MONEY chased four wide throughout coming under encouragement at the three-eighths pole, continued four wide into upper stretch, rallied to take command just inside the eighth pole, dug in under lone late threat and was nailed on the wire and forced to settle for the place honors. STRAPPED got bumped at the start by WINNIN'ONWEEKENDS, who broke outwards, and then lost his lane to that rival, settled three to four wide in pursuit, came under urging three furlongs from home, angled four to five wide into upper stretch and offered up a mild bid. SEEKING UNITY struck the near side stall at the start and came under coaxing to be forwardly placed two to three wide in closest aim of the leader, remained patiently handled until put to coaxing just inside three furlongs remaining, advanced to take command swinging two to three wide into upper stretch, dug in under threat from flanking rivals and was collared just inside the eighth pole, then weakened in the late stages. WINNIN'ONWEEKENDS broke out at the start bumping STRAPPED before taking over his lane, cut the pace along the inside past the stands and through the first turn and then just off the inside down the backstretch and through the far turn coming under urging at the five-sixteenths when under pressure for the initial time by SEEKING UNITY to the outside, took the inside route into upper stretch and was displaced from the front at the quarter pole, dug in under a drive prominent to the furlong grounds then weakened in the late going. BOLD ENDEAVOR broke out brushing the off side stall at the start and then FIRST TRUMPET, chased three then two wide through the stretch the first time and through the first turn, remained just off the inside down the backstretch before tucked inside half a mile from home, came under coaxing with seven-sixteenths to go, spun two to three wide into upper stretch and weakened in the drive. FIRST TRUMPET got brushed at the start by BOLD ENDEAVOR, who broke outwards, chased five wide past the stands the initial time before heading five wide through the first turn, chased four to five wide down the backstretch, tucked three wide through the far turn coming under urging with seven-sixteenths to go in retreat, tipped five wide at the top of the stretch and tired. TAPARINO shied out at the start filling the space left vacant by the breaking outwards WINNIN'ONWEEKENDS, chased just off the inside and then along the inside under a ride from the seven-sixteenths, cornered three to four wide at the head of the lane and made no impact.
