WELCOME BACK BABE was hustled from the gate, showed speed then contested the pace, vied inside on the turn, dueled with the runner-up into the final sixteenth then edged clear under steady urging. AH CA IRA was hustled from the gate, disputed the pace on the outside then in the three path on the turn, dueled with the winner into the final sixteenth and was outfinished while well clear for the place. KHALI'S STORM showed speed and pressed the pace, vied in the two path while between horses on the turn, dropped back late on that bend and tired while clear for the show. SKY RUNNER moved up while settling under some restraint then was well placed behind the leaders, dropped back under urging at the seven-sixteenths pole, went around the turn in the two path, was driven into the stretch in the four path and lacked the needed response. HEAVENS LEE broke out at the start, settled off the pace, moved out late on the backstretch, dropped from the three path to the two path while roused on the turn and came up empty. STAGED CONFLICT lost her footing at the start and was off a bit slow, moved out under urging at the rear in the early going, lagged at the back, dropped in near the five-eighths pole, rounded the turn in the two path, shifted out in the vicinity of the furlong marker and was no factor. DEAR JOHN was hustled from the gate, settled under some urging, came under stronger encouragement in the four path on the turn and had nothing left. HOUDINI'S BRIDE was hustled from the gate then urged along off the pace, went around the turn in the three then four path and failed to respond. JOEVIA'S DIVA showed speed on the inside of rivals, dropped back outside the five-eighths pole, fell further back while inside on the turn and retreated.
