SILO RIDGE coaxed from the gate, chased five the four wide coming under urging at the three-eighths, swung four wide into upper stretch, came in slightly straightened away and brushed with ARI'S MAGIC, had that rival attempt to nudge his way out a furlong out when the leader drifted in front, denied the move and rallied to take command a sixteenth from home, then edged away to the finish to prevail. ENDURING SPIRIT got bumped and taken in hand at the start when ARI'S MAGIC recovered outwards from a bobble and took over his lane, ranged up to take command five and a half furlongs from home and cut the pace three wide down the backstretch and through the turn widening away with five-sixteenths to go, spun just off the inside into upper stretch set down for the drive, dug in under a drive and came out a path a furlong out, got collared with a sixteenth to run and ran on to preserve the place honors. ARI'S MAGIC bobbled at the break recovering outwards and bumping ENDURING SPIRIT and forcing that rival to be taken in hand briefly, chased three then two wide coming under a ride at the three-eighths, swung three wide into upper stretch and was brushed straightened away, had the aforementioned foe drift out a path near the eighth pole and attempted to lean on SILO RIDGE to nudge that foe outwards and was denied the move, altered to the inside inside that station and kept on to procure the show honors clear of the rest. CAMM' DUKE chased just off the inside and then along the inside coming under urging at the three-eighths, took the inside route into upper stretch, weakened in the late stages. FACE THE FACTS grew fractious in the gate and broke open the stall door prior to the start, chased three then four wide under urging from the seven-sixteenths, angled five to six wide into upper stretch, offered no response, then was vetted upon returning after the gallop out and was transported off the course via equine ambulance. CELTIC PRINCE coaxed from the start, chased four then three wide under a ride from midway on the turn, angled out seven wide into upper stretch, tired. There was a Jockey's Objection by the rider of ARI'S MAGIC alleging interference in the stretch against SILO RIDGE. After review, the objection was dismissed and the result was allowed to stand prior to the race being declared official.
