TOMACON got bumped between foes at the start, chased just off the inside and then along the inside coming under encouragement at the five-sixteenths, swung four to five wide into upper stretch, angled in a path with three-sixteenths to go and rallied to issue a challenge inside the final furlong taking command just inside the sixteenth marker, then inched away to the finish to prevail. TIMAEUS broke in a step at the start bumping TOMACON in tandem with OMEY ISLAND, raced three then two wide through the first turn, chased three then two wide coming under urging at the three-eighths, advanced to pressure the leader and vie for command through the latter portion of the turn, angled five wide into upper stretch, seized the front with three-sixteenths to go, dug in under a drive under threat to the inside and was collared just inside the sixteenth pole while running on to the finish. OMEY ISLAND bobbled and then brushed the off side stall at the start before bumping TOMACON in concert with TIMAEUS, established the front and showed the way in hand along the inside, came under challenge for the initial time near the five-sixteenths and got ridden along in response, cornered four wide into upper stretch under threat, relinquished command with three-sixteenths remaining and kept on under a drive to be along clear for the show honors. NEON BORDEAUX broke a beat slow and lost his lane to BERNING BEAUTY, raced three wide throughout coming under encouragement at the three-eighths, tipped four to five wide into upper stretch, angled in straightened away and improved position. BERNING BEAUTY broke out at the start taking over the lane of the slow breaking NEON BORDEAUX, raced three then two wide through the first turn, chased just off the inside and then along the inside coming under urging at the seven-sixteenths, spun just off the inside into upper stretch and tired. MAD BANKER broke in at the start, raced four then three wide through the first turn, chased four then three wide under a ride with seven-sixteenths to go, went six wide into upper stretch, tired.
