Footnotes
STAR OF WONDER was off slow and spotted the front a few lengths, settled off the pace, moved closer inside the three-quarter pole, drafted inside while under intermittent urging on the turn, found room and was roused at the quarter-pole, rallied along the rail to make a bid outside the sixteenth-pole and got up under strong handling to prevail. CASTLE CHAOS settled on the outside, tucked in behind horses late on the backstretch, drafted in the two path for most of the turn, was given his cue near the five-sixteenths pole then shifted to the four path, rallied to the lead under the crop while still on his inside lead at the three-sixteenths, swapped to the proper lead shortly thereafter, inched clear outside the furlong marker, led until the sixteenth-pole then was caught while clear for the place. NELSON AVENUE moved in while showing speed, disputed the pace on the inside of rivals, vied along the rail on the turn, lost the advantage in upper stretch and weakened while able to hold the show. REPO ROCKS stalked the pace on the outside, chased in the three path on the turn and tired. BIG BLUE LINE dropped back after the start, angled in near the five-eighths pole, settled at the rear, angled from the rail to the three path while getting closer on the turn, moved to the five path late on that bend and lacked the needed response. POWER SEEKER dropped back then settled towards the rear, was urged along in the two to three path on the turn, moved out in upper stretch and failed to threaten. JAMIE DREAMS was hustled from the gate, contested the pace loosely between horses, was urged along late on the backstretch, chased in the two path while hard ridden on the turn and came up empty.
