CRAZY MASON grew detached at the tail of the field and chased along the inside coming under urging nearing the midway point on the turn, made ground and swung five wide into upper stretch before tipping out two additional paths to the outside with three-sixteenths to go, rallied inside the final furlong closing well to issue a challenge a sixteenth out and was up in the last jumps to score. QUINT'S BREW chased five paths off the inside down the backstretch and then three wide through the turn coming under encouragement with five-sixteenths to go, swung four to five wide into upper stretch, took over command from the embattled top pair with three-sixteenths remaining, edged away under a drive before coming under growing threat to the outside, dug in and was caught in the final strides to the finish. DILGER (IRE) broke out at the start trading a bump with MAXIMUS MERIDIUS, chased seven paths off the inside down the backstretch until darting to the inside just inside the half mile pole, remained on hold until let out spinning four wide into upper stretch, offered up a bid a furlong from home, then kept on to be along clear for the show honors. SURVEILLANCE bobbled at the break, chased six to seven paths off the inside down the backstretch and then five wide through the turn urged along from three furlongs out, tipped six wide at the top of the stretch, weakened in the late stages. DONEGAL MOMENTUM chased six paths off the inside down the backstretch and then four wide through the turn ridden along from the three-eighths marker, tipped five wide into upper stretch, offered no response. MAXIMUS MERIDIUS broke in at the start trading a bump with DILGER, dueled four the two wide with FULL MOON MADNESS to his inside, came under coaxing near the quarter pole and went three to four wide into upper stretch, then weakened through to the finish. FULL MOON MADNESS hustled from the gate, dueled from the two path down the backstretch with the aforementioned foe to his outside, tucked inside through the turn and came under urging midway, spun just off the inside into upper stretch shaking off his main pace foe and was collared with three-sixteenths to go, then weakened through to the wire.
