Footnotes
BANK FRENZY was hustled from the gate, brushed with a foe nearing the seven-eighths pole, moved up to get the lead outside the five-eighths pole, shook clear late on the backstretch, controlled the action while inside on the turn, moved off the rail outside the quarter-pole, responded well when put to the crop outside the eighth-pole, drifted out in the final furlong and held under steady urging. GENERAL BANKER brushed with a foe near the seven-eighths pole, was well placed just off the pace, chased inside on the turn, angled out in upper stretch, remained on his inside lead in the drive and narrowly earned the place. LOCKE AND KEY was reserved early then settled on the outside, moved closer late on the backstretch, was urged along in the three then four path on the turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive and improved to just miss the place while clear for the show. RADIO RED stalked the pace on the outside, chased in the three path on the turn, pursued the winner under a drive into the final furlong and weakened. SHERIFF BIANCO settled off the pace, was roused late on the backstretch, moved from the two path to the four path on the turn, turned into the stretch in the five path and lacked the needed response. WYNSTOCK broke a step slow, raced well back in the field, rounded the turn in the two path and was no factor. JUST STEP ON IT went to the front and set the early pace, lost the lead outside the five-eighths pole, dropped back late on the backstretch, fell further back while moving from the two path to the five path on the turn, spun into the stretch in the six path and came up empty.
