ARTEMIS SOUND was hustled from the gate, chased the pace on the outside then in the four path on the turn, took the lead outside the furlong marker and drew away under strong urging. DANGEROUS AFFAIR broke out at the start, was urged along on the outside then in the five path on the turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive and finished willingly for the place. GRACEFUL ROSE settled under some urging, moved from the rail to the two path on the turn, angled out in upper stretch and improved to get the show while no match for the top two. I'M KIDDING broke a bit slow, rushed up under urging then took the lead before the nine-sixteenths pole, vied in the two path on the turn, lost the advantage to the winner inside the three-sixteenths pole, drifted out under a left-handed crop in the vicinity of the furlong marker, switched to a right-handed crop shortly thereafter and weakened. QUIET CONFIDENCE showed speed and led early, lost the advantage nearing the nine-sixteenths pole, moved out leaving the backstretch, chased in the three path on the turn, made a bid late on that bend, dropped back into the final furlong and tired. SCARBOROUGH FAIR broke a half-step slow, settled off the pace, dropped from the two path to the rail very early on the turn, saved ground from that point into the stretch and came up empty. HANDLE ON YOU was off a half-step slow, raced towards the back under urging, dropped well behind in the three path on the turn and faltered.
