Footnotes
PROUD DIVI was sent hard from the gate, angled in while going to the front, dictated terms in the two path through the turn, extended the advantage in upper stretch, responded well when put to a right-handed crop outside the furlong marker and proved much the best while drifting out some under strong urging. CYNANE dropped back off the pace then angled out inside the five-eighths pole, gained fast on the outside late on the backstretch, moved from the four path to the three path early on the turn, chased the winner under a drive to the finish and was second best. BEIRA settled towards the rear, was urged along passing the seven-sixteenths pole, went around the turn in the three then four path, turned into the stretch under the crop and lacked the needed response while well clear for the show. DAT DARES RIGHT was hustled from the gate, established a good position just off the pace, chased inside on the turn and came up empty. LIGHT THOUGHTS moved up then chased the pace on the outside, dropped back in the two path on the turn, spun into the stretch in the three path and faltered.
