PERSISTENT DANGER broke out at the start forcing LORD CAPTAIN to steady, raced forwardly placed before advancing to duel with THANK YOU JON with five furlongs to go tucking to the inside, took to the two path through the turn and was joined by BRONX BOMBER outside and vied inside a pair of rivals coming under coaxing near the quarter pole, spun three wide into upper stretch, edged clear under a drive to the eighth pole, dug in and held well to prevail. GUN MAESTRO coaxed from the gate, showed the way early on along the inside pulling on the bit, got eased off under a firm hold and tipped out to chase three wide five furlongs from home, continued three wide through the turn coming under urging at the three-eighths, angled five to six wide into upper stretch and offered up a mild kick to secure the place honors. BRONX BOMBER coaxed from the start, chased four paths off the inside early on, advanced to vie four wide through the turn coming under coaxing at the three-eighths, angled five wide into upper stretch, kept on under a drive to the finish. THANK YOU JON forwardly placed four paths off the inside early on, advanced to duel with PERSISTENT DANGER to his inside at the five-eighths marker and tucked to the two path as that rival took to the inside, vied three wide through the turn now between rivals when joined outside by BRONX BOMBER, came under a ride at the five-sixteenths and got shaken off swinging three wide into upper stretch, dug in prominent to the eighth pole, then weakened in the late stages. BOSS THREE O TWO coaxed from the gate, chased along the inside under encouragement from three furlongs out, tipped three wide into upper stretch, made no impact. LORD CAPTAIN got steadied at the start when PERSISTENT DANGER broke outwards and conceded four lengths to the front before settling into stride, chased two to three wide under a ride from the seven-sixteenths, went five to six wide into upper stretch and trailed throughout.
