Footnotes
ROCK THE WEEKEND coaxed from the gate, chased five paths off the inside down the backstretch, tucked three then two wide through the turn coming under encouragement three furlongs from home, swung four wide into upper stretch, shied out under a left handed crop straightened away three to four paths, dug in under correction and closed well to collar the leader forty yards from the finish, then inched away to the end kept to task. TEN CENT TOWN broke out at the start bumping CONCORDE SPIRIT, prompted the pace of CALDO CANDY to the outside three wide, took over command at the quarter pole and was set down spinning five then four wide into upper stretch, inched away under a drive to the eighth pole, dug in and was caught with forty yards to the finish and was along safe for the place honors. ELYSIAN MEADOWS coaxed from the start, chased four then three wide down the backstretch before tucking to the two path under coaxing from the half mile pole, continued just off the inside into upper stretch and offered up a mild kick. CALDO CANDY hustled from the gate, cut the pace from the two path under pressure outside from TEN CENT TOWN, got placed to coaxing at the three-eighths, yielded the front near the quarter pole and spun three wide at the head of the stretch, weakened in the late stages. CLANCY FANCY four wide in pursuit, got ridden along midway on the turn, tipped five wide into upper stretch, weakened in the drive. CONCORDE SPIRIT got bumped at the start by TEN CENT TOWN, who broke outwards, chased two then three wide under brief coaxing from the seven-sixteenths, continued to lose ground and went four to five wide into upper stretch and was eased home through to the finish.
