DERBYNESS broke out at the start and traded a bump with DYLAN'S RUBY, chased five paths off the inside down the backstretch and then three wide through the turn coming under urging with seven-sixteenths to go, went seven wide into upper stretch, closed well outside and was just up on the wire to score. LIGHT THE WAY showed the way in hand just off the inside and then along the inside, got set down angled four to five wide into upper stretch, edged clear to the eighth pole, dug in under growing late threat and was nailed at the finish. DYLAN'S RUBY broke awkwardly inwards and traded a bump with DERBYNESS, chased four then three wide early on before tucking to the two path near the half mile pole, went to the inside through the turn coming under coaxing at the seven-sixteenths, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, offered up a mild kick. I SEE YOU LOOKIN lost his lane when J D FACTOR broke outwards and was taken in hand briefly conceding three lengths to the front, chased two to three wide under a ride from the three-eighths, angled six wide into upper stretch, offered up a mild bid but was outkicked. J D FACTOR broke open his stall door prior to the start, broke out at the start taking over the lane of I SEE YOU LOOKIN, chased inside briefly before tipping to the three path nudging HATCH to be four wide, tucked to the two path into the turn coming under urging with seven-sixteenths to run, swung three wide for home and weakened in the stretch. HATCH chased three wide early on until nudged to the four path by the aforementioned foe five furlongs out, came under coaxing tucked three wide at the three-eighths, angled five wide at the top of the stretch and tired.
