Footnotes
SPUN SIZE stalked the pace on the outside, turned up the pressure on the leader while in the three path on the turn, was given her cue near the five-sixteenths pole, took the advantage into upper stretch, kicked clear outside the furlong marker and drew away under steady urging. OBSERVER broke a half-step slow, was urged along off the pace, chased in the four path on the turn, turned into upper stretch in the five path, pursued the winner in the drive and willingly earned the place. NIKKI BRAINBURST went to the front then showed the way, vied inside on the turn, was asked outside the five-sixteenths pole, came out to the three path while losing the advantage into upper stretch and weakened but just held the show. SUNSET PARK came out a bit at the start but was quickly corrected by the rider, was well placed just of the pace, chased in the two path for most of the turn, dropped to the rail outside the quarter-pole and lacked the needed kick then just missed the show. LADY OF MERCIA was very fractious in the gate, came away a bit slow then dropped back while moving out early, fell well behind the rest of the field, went around the turn in the three to four path, spun into the stretch in the six path then moved further out and failed to threaten. READY TO ROMANCE broke a half-step slow then was sent hard, chased the pace on the inside, dropped back leaving the backstretch, saved ground on the turn and capitulated.
