CHELONIAN broke in at the start under hustling and bumped SMILE MON, chased four paths off the inside until tucked to the rail nine-sixteenths from home, remained along the inside through the turn coming under coaxing near the quarter pole and advancing to seize command at that station, cut the corner into upper stretch, edged away under a drive to the eighth pole, dug in and held safe to the finish. RUNNIN' RAY chased five to six paths off the inside down the backstretch and then four wide through the turn coming under coaxing at the seven-sixteenths, angled six to seven wide into upper stretch, closed well outside, bobbled steps from the wire and was quickly placed to a protective hold while across the wire to secure the place honors, then quickly got eased up and pulled up before walking off under his own power. SKYLANDER six paths off the inside down the backstretch, tucked three wide through the turn coming under urging at the five-sixteenths, angled five wide into upper stretch, was under tepid handling with a firm right grip and being flashed a left handed crop as though attempting to lug in, but didn't stray from a straight course while offering up a mild kick to the wire. JACKSON HEIGHTS chased just off the inside coming under encouragement at the three-eighths marker, angled five wide into upper stretch, kicked on belatedly to the finish. SMILE MON got bumped at the start by CHELONIAN, came under hustling and showed the way in hand three then two wide coming under coaxing with five-sixteenths to go, yielded the front swinging three to four wide into upper stretch, weakened in the late stages. FROMANOTHAMUTHA coaxed from the start, chased five paths off the inside down the backstretch, tucked to the two path half a mile from home placed to urging, swung three wide into upper stretch and weakened. CENTAVO coaxed from the gate, chased two to three wide until tucked inside into the turn, came under urging with seven-sixteenths to run, cornered just off the inside into upper stretch and weakened in the drive.
