MARGIN OF AIR hustled from the gate, showed the way in hand along the inside through the first turn and then just off the inside down the backstretch, had BOLD ENDEAVOR advance outside and dueled with that rival from five furlongs out, tucked inside into the far turn and came under increasing pressure getting placed to coaxing with five-sixteenths to go, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, dug in knocking heads through the length of the stretch being shown the crop to the right side while also flashing it in the face of his main danger as a deterrent, bumped his main rival steps from the finish and gamely prevailed at the wire. BOLD ENDEAVOR coaxed from the gate, prompted the leader from the two path through the first turn and then three wide down the backstretch advancing to engage in head to head combat with five furlongs to run, tucked to the two path into the far turn and came under urging with five-sixteenths to go, swung three to four wide into upper stretch, dug in latched on dueling through the stretch to the finish, had the crop of his main rival flashed in his face through the final furlong, got bumped steps from the finish and was ultimately denied at the end in a game effort. LOST IN ROME grew a bit rank when under restraint into the first turn before racing just off the inside through that bend, chased four then three wide coming under coaxing at the three-eighths, angled five to six wide into upper stretch and weakened in the late stages. BOSSMAKINBOSSMOVES coaxed from the start, chased two then three wide under urging from three furlongs out, went seven wide at the head of the stretch, weakened in the drive. WILD BANKER two then three wide in pursuit, got placed to encouragement midway on the far turn, cornered three wide into upper stretch and trailed.
