AWESOME ROBERTA showed speed then chased the pace, dropped back in crowded quarters near the half-mile pole, moved from the three path to the four path on the turn, turned into the stretch under a drive, pursued the leader while remaining on her inside lead, gained into the final sixteenth and got up under strong urging to prevail. ADA MAY bumped with foes on both sides at the start, moved out near the five-eighths pole then advanced on the outside, made a bid near the nine-sixteenths pole, vied in the four then three path on the turn, took the lead with three furlongs to run, dropped to the two path while shaking clear late on the bend, was set down after turning into the stretch, passed the furlong marker under a right-handed crop, drifted out outside the sixteenth-pole and was overtaken while just able to get the place. JUST WORDS broke in and bumped with a foe, showed speed then contested the pace on the outside, vied in the two path while between horses on the turn, dropped back into upper stretch, chased while remaining on her inside lead until outside the furlong marker then swapped to the proper lead, kept on well in the final furlong, gained into the final sixteenth then moved in, made a bid late but was outfinished then just missed the place while able to get the show. CAROL SAID NO was hustled from the gate, raced just off the pace under some urging, moved from the rail to the two path very early on the turn, continued in the two path around most of the bend, shifted to the three path outside the quarter-pole, dropped back some while driven into the stretch in the five path, kept on in the final furlong and finished willingly. POWER DRIVER broke out at the start, was ridden along towards the rear, fell further off the pace leaving the backstretch, rounded the turn in the two path and lacked the needed response. YAYI NIKOLLE broke out and bumped with a foe, was taken in hand early then settled at the rear, moved in around the nine-sixteenths pole, saved ground on the turn and was no factor. LIGHT THOUGHTS moved up outside the five-eighths pole to contest the pace on the inside of an opponent, vied along the rail under urging on the turn, dropped back nearing the quarter-pole and faded.
