FRIEND OFTHE DEVIL got brushed at the start by SIR PALACE PRINCE, who broke outwards a step, established the front and showed the way in hand three paths off the inside down the backstretch before tucking inside through the turn, got set down spinning just off the inside into upper stretch, drew clear under a drive and was kept to task. BOSUN chased six to seven paths off the inside down the backstretch and then four wide through the turn under coaxing from the five-sixteenths, tipped six wide into upper stretch, offered up a mild kick. LEO'S REWARD broke in at the start bumping LI'L LANG, chased just off the inside and then along the inside coming under encouragement with five-sixteenths to go, cut the corner into upper stretch, ran on through to the finish to secure the show honors. LI'L LANG got bumped at the start by the aforementioned foe breaking inwards, chased along the inside prominent early on, lost position through the turn and came under coaxing with five-sixteenths remaining in response, spun three wide into upper stretch, kept on to come again and procure the last major share. MASTER FREUD struck the near side stall at the start, chased four to five paths off the inside down the backstretch and then three wide through the turn coaxed along from the three-eighths pole, went six wide into upper stretch, offered up a mild bid. SIR PALACE PRINCE broke out at the start bumping FRIEND OFTHE DEVIL, chased four then two wide under a ride from the five-sixteenths, swung four wide at the top of the stretch and weakened. MO FOR THE KING chased six paths off the inside down the backstretch and then three wide through the turn ridden along from the three-eighths marker, angled five wide into upper stretch, tired. MAZZEI chased three wide until tucked inside at the seven-sixteenths, got pushed along three furlongs out, continued in the inside route into upper stretch and tired.
