EMBRACEABLE GAL chased five paths off the inside down the backstretch and then three wide through the turn coming under encouragement at the seven-sixteenths, advanced on the front through the latter portion of the turn taking over command swinging four to five wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive and had his main danger come outwards a furlong out, came in slightly nearing the sixteenth pole and traded a bump with that rival, then dug in gamely to hold sway rebuffing the challenger to the finish. CHASING DAYLIGHT coaxed from the start, chased four paths off the inside in closest aim of the leader down the backstretch, tucked to the two path through the turn and applied some pressure to the front, came under urging at the five-sixteenths when the aforementioned foe arrived on the scene to the outside, held narrow command inside that station and swung three to four wide into upper stretch and was displaced straightened away, dug in under a left handed crop coming out a path a furlong out, came out slightly once more as EMBRACEABLE GAL came in slightly and traded a bump nearing the sixteenth pole, ran on to the finish but was ultimately repelled to the end. MITOLE'S GIRL broke in at the start, chased three then two wide coming under a ride at the five-sixteenths, angled six wide into upper stretch, offered up a mild kick. SPLASHY cut the pace just off the inside and then along the inside, came under coaxing near the quarter pole when displaced narrowly from command, spun just off the inside into upper stretch and weakened. CAROL T chased six paths off the inside down the backstretch and then four wide through the turn coaxed along from the three-eighths pole, went seven wide into upper stretch and weakened. TOP OF THE TABLE got bumped at the start by LADY ARWEN, chased along the inside under urging from three furlongs out, spun three wide for home, tired. LADY ARWEN broke in at the start bumping TOP OF THE TABLE, chased along the inside and then just off the inside urged along from midway on the turn, tipped out four wide into upper stretch and trailed. There was a Jockey's Objection by the rider of CHASING DAYLIGHT alleging interference against EMBRACEABLE GAL in the stretch. After review, the objection was dismissed and the result was allowed to stand prior to the race being declared official.
