KAY CUP prompted the leader from the outside in hand three then two wide advancing on that rival to be heads apart for command with three furlongs to go, swung three wide into upper stretch and seized command straightened away, got roused at the three-sixteenths, drew clear under a drive and was back in hand in the final strides to the wire. DEAR MOON chased six paths off the inside down the backstretch before tucking three wide through the turn, came under encouragement at the three-eighths, swung four wide into upper stretch, proved no match for the top one while running on well clear of the rest to be along second best. MUNNINGS EXPRESS broke in at the start and was corrected, showed the way in hand just off the inside and then along the inside under pressure from KAY CUP to the outside, came under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, spun just off the inside into upper stretch and was displaced from the front straightened away, weakened in the final furlong while clear for the show honors. TOP SPIN ACE broke in brushing the near side stall at the start, chased three then two wide under a ride from the seven-sixteenths, swung four wide for home and tired. GARDEN OF GRACE veered in at the start, chased along the inside coming under urging three furlongs from home, spun just off the inside into upper stretch and tired. LADY LOOIE shied in at the start when GARDEN OF GRACE veered in from her outside, chased two to three wide under a ride from midway on the turn, angled five wide at the top of the stretch and tired. APERITIF coaxed from the gate, raced five then four wide in pursuit under encouragement from the seven-sixteenths, tipped seven wide at the head of the lane, tired through to the finish.
