JOLLY MISS JILL was hustled from the gate then chased the early pace, moved up to make an outside bid with five furlongs to run, vied in the three path on the turn, took the advantage in upper stretch, shook clear while remaining on her inside lead coming to the furlong marker, swapped to the proper lead while still clear outside the sixteenth-pole and just held under strong urging. JOEY THE FISH was ridden along towards the rear while well off the pace, went around the turn in the two path, moved out in upper stretch, rallied outside in the final furlong and closed strongly but missed while just able to get the place. TOSCONOVA BEAUTY was ridden along well off the pace, dropped from the three path to the two path early on the turn, came under the crop in upper stretch, rallied in the final furlong and closed well to just miss the place while clear for the show. PRETTI XTREME tracked the pace, made a bid with five furlongs to run, took the lead near the nine-sixteenths pole, vied two path to the inside on the turn, lost the lead under a drive in upper stretch and weakened. SISTER LINDA was hustled to the front, lost the lead near the nine-sixteenths pole, chased inside on the turn and tired. GRINGOTTS settled off the pace, was urged along in the two then three path on the turn and failed to rally. HALO CITY was last away then angled in under urging at the rear, moved from the rail to the three path on the turn, turned into the stretch in the five path and was no factor. REIGNING CHICK was hustled from the gate then chased just off the pace on the outside, had the overgirth come loose nearing the three-quarter pole, saw the rider put the crop in his mouth then reached down and grabbed the overgirth then had hit fall to the ground, dropped back quickly while appearing to be under less control in the saddle, rounded the turn in the four path and retreated.
