FOCUS POCUS established the front shortly after the start and showed the way in hand just off the inside, continued patiently handled and widened away through the far turn, swung three then two wide into upper stretch, got roused with three-sixteenths to go and went clear under a light drive, then got geared down inside the final sixteenth with the outcome in no doubt. DREAM ON CARA coaxed from the gate, chased just off the inside down the backstretch and then four wide through the turn coming under coaxing at the three-eighths, went seven wide into upper stretch, proved no match for the top one, weakened while along for the place honors. Following a shoe repair in the paddock, LU'S REDEMPTION coaxed from the start, chased five then three wide coming under coaxing at the three-eighths, angled four to five wide into upper stretch, proved no match for the top one, weakened in the stretch while well clear of the rest for the show honors. THE SPLENDID ONE stumbled at the start, chased just off the inside coming under coaxing at the seven-sixteenths, continued just off the inside into upper stretch, passed tired rivals. PUREST PERFORMANCE bobbled awkwardly at the start, chased three to four wide under coaxing from the seven-sixteenths, angled five wide into upper stretch and tired. WATCH OVER ME chased six then five wide coming under coaxing at the three-eighths, angled eight to nine wide into upper stretch, made no impact. WHEN YOUR STRANGE chased three wide under a ride from the seven-sixteenths, angled five to six wide into upper stretch, faltered in the stretch. LA INDECENTE coaxed from the start, chased four wide coming under encouragement at the three-eighths, angled six to seven wide into upper stretch and gave way. SHERMAN'S MARLIN chased along the inside under coaxing from the seven-sixteenths, angled four wide into upper stretch, folded, and was eased home to the finish.
